Femita made her Paralympic debut in Rio last night in the Women’s 200m qualifying race and qualified to run in the final heat which will be held today at 3:45 PM ET. She can be seen in lane four holding the lead until they round the corner toward the home stretch. She was up against some heavy hitters from across the globe and managed to hold her own. She was absolutely flying and looked strong (…if this were a 100m race it looks like she would have won!). Which bodes well for her primary event, the 100m dash, which will be held on Saturday. The 100m qualifying will take place 9/17 @ 11:30 AM ET and the final will be 9/17 @ 7:00 PM ET.
